  Introduction to nTier
 

 nTier PkMS®, recently renamed to WMS Open Systems, is Manhattan’s latest offering for a full Warehouse Management System software package.  The main difference between nTier PkMS® and earlier versions is:

  • multiple operating systems are supported

  • Multiple databases are supported

  • scalability

  • multi-tiered architecture using CORBA

  • thin-client, web based GUI

Many clients are switching to nTier PkMS® from earlier versions of PkMS® to take advantage of these features
